Achievements & Highlights
MEIF Recognition
Ms. Ashiya Afrah and Ms. Fathima Suhana, students of Melkar Women's PU College, were awarded by the Muslim Educational Institutions' Federation (MEIF), DK & Udupi District, for securing 99% in the 12th Board Exam.
B.A. Degree Examination 2016
Melkar Degree College recorded 100% result once again in the B.A. degree examination, May 2016. Out of 37 students who appeared, 22 secured first class with distinction, 11 secured first class, and only 4 passed with second class.
B.Com Degree Examination 2016
Melkar Degree College gained 90% in the sixth-semester (final-year) B.Com degree examination, May 2016. Among 40 students who appeared, 31 secured first class with distinction and 5 secured first class. Toppers: Mariyam Abida (93%), Harshida (92.5%), Safwana (91%).
2nd PUC Results 2016
Melkar Women's PU College secured 96% in the 2016 board examination. Of 146 students who appeared, 140 successfully completed PUC, 12 with distinction and 85 with first class. Top scorers in Commerce included Faleela Simith (551), Ayisha Misbha (548), Safa Parveena (545), Heena Kausar (538), Mariyam Thahneeya (524), Ayisha Tasneeya (522), Najeema (511); in Arts: Ismath (535), Shahida (532), Fathimath Mufeeda (519), Mariyamma (513), T Sowda (513).
2nd PUC Results 2014
Melkar Women's PU College achieved 97.5% result for the academic year. Commerce stream once again recorded 100% — 45 students appeared, 7 with distinction and 32 first class. Sameeda Banu topped the college with 548 marks (100 in Business Studies, 100 in Accountancy, 96 in Computer Science, 91 in Kannada). Other distinctions: Farhana Banu (538), Ramzeena (527), Nafeesath Mishriya (517), Reenaz Banu (516), Nishath (513), Shain (511), Nashath Niza (504). In Arts, 65 of 67 candidates were promoted with 54 in first class — Sumayya (489) topped. In Science, 11 of 13 secured first class — Nasira (498) topped.
